Violin by A. Anderson, Edinburgh, 1924

Violin by A. Anderson, Edinburgh, 1924

About A. Anderson

Frustratingly, it has not been possible in the course of our research to find out very much about the maker of this violin, not even his first name! It seems clear from the violin that Anderson was one of the many Scottish makers of the period who turned their woodworking skills to the art of violin making. We would be delighted to hear from anyone with more information on this maker.
