Nürnberger family bows are great favourites here for their consistently high quality and excellent value for money! The family-run workshop dominated Markneukirchen's bow-making scene from the 1880s onwards, producing exceptionally well-made bows. The *Albert Nürnberger* brand is seen from around 1920 onwards and was used by various family members going forward.

The round stick measures 727 mm in length and is made of good quality pernambuco. The bow weighs 57 grams, and the mounts are of silver and ebony.

How does it play?

This bow creates a refined, silky sound that suits lyrical playing very well. It's very easy to use and works predictably well in all the usual test passages.
