About Coda Bow Diamond

Based in Minnesota, CodaBow are one of the world's leading manufacturers of carbon fibre bows. The bows are all made in the USA and use man-made materials for all parts of the bow excluding the hair.

About the violin bow

The Diamond GX violin bows have a Kevlar core wrapped in diamond weave graphite. The bow weighs 62 grams and the mounts are of Xebony and Sterling silver. The stick measures 730 mm in length and is round in cross section.

How does it play?

These are incredibly usable bows! They're really strong and offer lots of resistance. We usually suggest that these bows pair well with a darker instrument: the focus on the upper harmonics can be a fraction too much on a very bright violin.

Condition

The bow is in excellent original condition.
