About the violin

This violin was made in 2018 and is modelled after the instruments of Stradivari.

The violin has a two piece back of medium-flamed maple and a two piece front of straight-grained spruce which widens towards the flanks. This violin is varnished in Linus´ new varnish recipe and looks absolutely stunning! The varnish is golden-amber in colour, laid over a lighter golden ground. The violin has a length of back of 357 mm.

How does it sound?

This is a brilliant instrument! It has a zesty, lively character with fantastic projection and is very quick to offer new colours. The violin is even across the strings and speaks with ease.

Condition

The violin is in original mint condition.
